Just a fun little post for the hardcore Katharine Emma Maltwood enthusiasts out there.
The following images are scans of Katharine’s personal sketch pad from 1898.
The sketch Pad is currently housed in the Special Collections Department (Maltwood Museum) in the McPherson Library at UVIC (The University of Victoria) in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
Note her signature and the date on the second line from the top of the first page. Katharine Emma Sapsworth April 24th 1898. She was 20 years old still using her maiden name.
I am sorry but I could not figure out how to post the images in higher resolution. If you save the images to your computer you can zoom into them for a closer look. Enjoy.
